Come join me on my underwater adventure

Welcome to my little corner here in Costa Rica. I am a PADI Course Director, Tec Instructor Trainer and scuba diving mum. I develop and teach scuba related diving and business programs as well as marine conservation courses. I love the ocean and all that surrounds it.

Welcome to my corner

Originally from Bucks in England, I started my traveling and scuba adventure back in 2003 after finishing my Masters in Wildlife Management and Conservation.
After completing my Course Directors in 2009 I have been living in Costa Rica working in a dive center as their director of training and development. I also consult for different dive centers around the Americas, helping develop their programs and centers.
In 2019 I helped co-found a Marine Conservation non-profit called Marine Conservation Costa Rica. It enabled me to pour more of my energies into a focused effort for conservation of our local environment. With that we have developed a coral restoration program as well as educational outreach in the local area. I love developing new programs and courses for both the diving side and marine conservation. It is my way of spreading knowledge of the ocean world.

I juggle being a mum of two (four if you count the animals!) and an avid diver as well as a dive and marine conservation educator. I love living in Costa Rica and growing the different projects I have, as well as spreading my passion for the ocean and environment to all those willing to learn.

As a professional diver I have reached Multi platinum status with PADI which was a wonderful achievement. I enjoy teaching PADI Divemaster, Instructor and technical dive programs and especially brining a marine conservation flare to them all. Working within the dive industry for over 16 years I have seen many aspects of it and gained a lot of experience. With that, I love to help develop new dive professionals and centers. Using my marketing and training knowledge to guide them to a successful path forward.

If you would like help and guidance on your scuba path, then please drop me a line.

Why I became a Course Director

Why I became a Course Director

During one of the first parts of the PADI IDC, you go around the room and ask all of the candidates and instructors why they want to be a scuba instructor. Inevitably the words like "travel" and "love the ocean" came up. It's true, it was why I originally became an...
