Merry christmas everyone! Or is it happy holidays? For me it is the time of christmas movie watching and eating lots of turkey (which I have to watch due to the wetsuit issue ; ) ) I have my list of christmas movies which are a mix of classics and some more obscure ones including Gremlins and Die Hard, nothing xmas and underwater yet to put in there but that would be kinda fun don’t you think? It is also the day of lull before the maddest week of the year begins tomorrow morning. I am ready to go guiding and the last remnants of Hurricane Otto have left so we have flat calm, warm waters just waiting to be dove in! I love guiding and diving during xmas week. Everyone is happy to be on vacation and this time of year is an extra specially jolly time of year. Pro workshops and classes this week are on hold as we are joined by christmas divers but it gives everyone a chance to practice their briefing and assistant guiding skills. I am probably going to have to bring my glowing reindeer antlers on the dive boat but they won’t unfortunately work underwater so will have to stay in the dry. Always the professional that I can be! In about 2 weeks our next group of divemaster interns will be joining us for some fun in the sun. Can’t wait to meet all of our budding go pro guys ready to change their lives and be a dive pro. In the mean time I will look forward to some fun bubbles in the sunshine this week and wish you all happy holidays and a happy new year!
